ABOUT ME
Born1982 in Mitchells Plain, Cape Town, my love for writing blossomed when on high school after completing a journalism course with one of the national newspapers. Outside of the God fearing home I grew up in, the Cape Flats had very little positive for me to latch on. Poverty coupled with the growing scourge of gangsterism that was fueled by drug wars held very little promise for my dreams. Still, my victory over Epilepsy, suicide, crystal methamphetamine, ecstasy – to name but a few – ignited a desire to share the wonder of God in my life, in various ways.
Today, I'm happily married to my wife Celeste, a father of two beautiful girls, Jessica and Taylor, and an ordained pastor of a small community church. I also do business across a dynamic range of industries and founded a non-profit organization in 2019.
The Mashach Project operates on the Cape Flats and is set on driving positive change nationally and internationally.
The testimonies of my life (which includes an autobiography A Plain Story, self published in 2016) is evident of a living God that made a common man be known as an overcomer in these current times. All this by the Grace of God that is found in Christ Jesus.
Raymond Petersen Painters continues to provide the highest quality paint service to private clients in Cape Town and surrounds while Yitshaq Enterprises is multiplying in ventures.
The range of things that excite me are too numerous to mention. Today is another day to discover the mystery of Christ inside myself and others. Let's connect and explore the possibilities of a collaborated force that will help see more people uplifted.
